The 1897 Messenger Bag - Free Shipping

Inspired by Bram Stoker's 1897 Dracula, this bag is the first in the Gothic Literature range of bags from Watermead. Made from 3mm full grain veg tan leather, it has our Raven black body, red strap and metal fittings. The edge of each bag flap follows the edge of the hide that its cut from, so no two bags are ever the same. The flap is held in place with a snap clip. It is constructed using linen thread and copper saddlers rivets. The internal pocket is made from imitation snake skin (a standard leather that has gone though a special process) with metal zip. The final touch is a Victorian penny from 1897 fastened to the front. All in all this is a fantastic bag and will be available in limited numbers.
